Brazil will offer 100 000 research schoolarships


Brazil, have good news for science and technology. There are 100 000 to givescholarships to students and researchers (preferably Brazilian, including those residing in Portugal) who want to develop undergraduate, doctoral, postdoctoral, or else internship programs or research. 

The scholarships take different forms. One looks young scientists beginning their careers. The duration of the fellowship is three years, and priority is given to researchers with Brazilian nationality. But nothing prevents it from applying young Portuguese scientists who demonstrate merit and ability. 

Another method is the Special Guest Researcher in Brazil, covering primarilyBrazilians living abroad, but also foreign researchers who demonstrate merit andscientific leadership. The aim is for 390 visiting researchers are committed to visit Brazil with a regular set: two months per year over three years. And that, too, receive and train young Brazilians abroad. In return they receive money for travel and research projects.
